Collection includes: Over 100 photographs of exhibitions designed by Sutnar, 1928-1947, plus one from the 1939 World's Fair; original sketches for exhibition panels; a small sketchbook of designs, 1939; a collection of designs for children (photographs and two stencils of building blocks, plus original designs for a series of posters admonishing children to "Keep Clean"), ca. 1938/1939; a file with original drawings and blueprints for household objects; examples of Sutnar's typographic work (booklets, leaflets, brochures and magazines), ca. 1930-1939; materials relating to the exhibit which toured the U.S. in 1962, "Visual Design in Action," with designs for the installation, photographs of the exhibition, a catalogue and a poster; correspondence between Sutnar and E. Neumann, 1963-1965, regarding an exhibit of typographic and advertising design to be held in Frankfurt; a file of copies of Sutnar's outgoing correspondence; the manuscript and dummy for the unpublished book "Shape" by Sutnar and Leonard Kessler, ca. 1969; and other miscellaneous material.
